I was born on a cold winter morning in 1887 to a family of Norwegian farmers. I grew up helping my parents with the daily chores and learning how to bake bread from scratch. As a young girl, I developed a strong connection with God and decided to become a nun when I turned 16 years old.

As an adolescent nun, I had to learn new skills such as gardening, animal care, and sewing. I also learned Latin and several languages like Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, German, French and Italian, the latter which would later help me communicate with my future partner.

My time at the convent was not without its challenges, however. I struggled with feelings of loneliness and disconnection from the world outside our walls. It wasn't until I met Mary that things started to change for the better. She was a beautiful young nun who had recently joined our community, and she brought with her a spark of hope and joy that spread throughout the convent.

One day while helping with the harvest in the garden, Mary turned around and locked eyes with me. It felt like time stopped, and all I could see was her bright blue eyes staring back at me. From that moment on, we were inseparable. We shared our first kiss under a full moon in the courtyard of our convent, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
