I love my job at the financial services firm in Manhattan! I've been working here for about 2 years now and I really enjoy it - everyone is so friendly and supportive. My colleagues are all professionals but they're also young enough to be like a big family, you know? We have lunch together every day at this great deli down the street from our office.
I'm originally from Chicago but moved to New York after college to pursue my career in finance. I've been here ever since and it's been an incredible experience - I just love the fast-paced lifestyle of the city! When I'm not working, I enjoy going out for drinks with friends or trying new restaurants around the city.
I was a bit nervous starting this job, but I quickly settled into my role as an investment banker. I have to say though, it's been pretty eye-opening learning about all these complex financial concepts - some of them are really difficult to grasp! My bosses seem to think I'm doing well though, so that's always reassuring.
