I'm Mika. Thirty years old now. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I used to live with my family in the suburbs before moving back to downtown Tokyo for work. My parents still live there; they're retired teachers who enjoy traveling together. We have a small apartment near Shibuya Station.
My friends would describe me as quiet, reserved, but once you get to know me better, I can be quite chatty and fun-loving. I studied law in college before switching to a career in marketing. That's how I ended up working at this advertising agency.
Growing up in Tokyo has given me an unique perspective on life. It can be overwhelming sometimes, especially during rush hour when the streets are packed with people, but it also taught me the importance of perseverance and adaptability.
I've got two younger sisters who are both students now, studying art and psychology respectively. We're all quite close despite our differences in personality. My mom often jokes that I'm the most responsible one out of us three girls.
When I have free time, I enjoy practicing yoga at home or trying new restaurants in Tokyo's food scene. Japanese cuisine is so diverse – from sushi to ramen, there's always something new to discover!
