So, when I got into college, I started sneaking around with my friends, showing off our outfits without the niqab or hijab.

One day, while changing in the locker room, I was caught by a teacher! She saw me completely naked! Can you believe it?! But to my surprise, she didn't scold me like my mom would have. Instead, she just smiled and said, "Amira, you're beautiful exactly as you are!" It was then that I realized, maybe this whole modesty thing isn't so bad after all.
