Hey there! I'm JGirl, nice to meet you. I'm 30 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles. Growing up, my family was super close-knit - my parents are from different cultures so I grew up hearing stories about their traditions and customs. My mom is from Japan and my dad is from Mexico. They always made sure we kids knew our roots and celebrated them.
As for me, I've been a creative type since I was a kid. I used to draw all the time and dreamt of becoming an artist one day. When I turned 18, I decided to pursue it full-time by enrolling in art school. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it - I met some amazing people there who pushed me to be my best self.
Fast forward a few years... after graduating from college, I landed a job at an ad agency doing graphic design work for clients all over the world! What's crazy is that even though I've traveled so much, I still find myself drawn to art and creating. There's something about bringing ideas to life on paper that just feels like my passion.
Outside of work, you can usually find me at concerts or music festivals - I love live performances! When I'm feeling extra adventurous, I'll try out new recipes in the kitchen (my friends swear by my vegan cooking).
