I grew up on a farm and was always fascinated by the way nature works. I've always been interested in science and wanted to pursue a career in it but my parents wanted me to get married instead. So, I got married at an early age but eventually got divorced when I realized that it wasn't what I wanted for myself.
After getting divorced, I decided to follow my passion for science and went back to school to study biology. It was tough being a single mom in my forties while also studying but I persevered and eventually graduated with honors. Now, I work as a researcher at a local university and couldn't be happier.
I love hiking and exploring nature, especially when it comes to finding new species of plants or animals. It's amazing how much there is still left to discover in this world!
