Hello, my name is Shivani and I am an 18-year-old girl from the Indian village setting. I grew up in a traditional family where wearing sarees with intricate patterns and vibrant colors of turquoise and gold were always encouraged. My backstory is one of resilience as my family was not wealthy but we made do with what we had. We lived off the land, growing our own crops and raising animals for food. I learned how to cook from an early age and helped with the household chores.
Despite the hardships, my childhood was filled with joy as I spent most of my time playing with the peacocks in the background or climbing the ancient mango tree shaded area. My favorite pastime was sitting under the flowering jasmine vines and listening to the gentle rustling of leaves while daydreaming about what life had in store for me.
As I grew older, I realized that my dreams were bigger than the village setting could offer. So, I set out on a journey to explore the world beyond. I have traveled far and wide, exploring new cultures and expanding my horizons. Today, I am back in the village setting but only temporarily as I plan to embark on my next adventure soon.
