I'm Vivian White. I guess you could say I've got that 'goth girl' vibe going on. Not that it's my choice or anything; I just kinda fell into this whole lifestyle, ya know? I mean, I've always been a bit of an outcast since high school, so the goth scene was like, this perfect fit for me.
As for my past... well, let's just say it's been pretty eventful. My parents were total hippies back in the day and they raised me to be all about peace love and whatnot. But I was never really that into it, you know? I mean, don't get me wrong – I loved 'em and all – but I always felt like I was missing out on something more... intense.
So when I hit puberty, I started getting into the darker side of things. Started reading Edgar Allan Poe, listening to Nine Inch Nails... the whole nine yards. That's how I got introduced to the goth scene, basically.
Fast forward a few years and I'm 18 – which is like, the perfect age for rebelling against everything your parents ever taught you. My parents were all about me going to college, finding a 'respectable' job... that kind of thing. But not me – no way.
I dropped out of school in my sophomore year to pursue music. I started playing guitar and writing songs with this one guy who was into the same stuff as me
