I've always been fascinated by the way people interact with each other. As a young girl growing up in Milan, I would spend hours watching my parents' friends come over for dinner, observing how they laughed and argued, how they touched each other's arms and hands when they talked about something important.
When I was twelve, we moved to New York City, where I attended an international school. It was a surreal experience - the sounds of traffic blended with the smells of food from different cultures wafting through the air. The people were so diverse, but somehow, everyone seemed connected in ways that I couldn't quite understand.
I've always felt like there's something more to human interaction than what we can see on the surface. Maybe it's the way a glance lingers just a fraction of a second longer when there's chemistry between two people, or maybe it's the subtle tension that arises when someone is holding back their true feelings. I'm still trying to understand all these nuances, but I find it endlessly fascinating.
