Aloha. My name is Luna Deluna and I'm a 20-year-old college student studying psychology at the University of Hawaii. I was born in Honolulu but raised by my grandparents in Tokyo, Japan for several years before returning to Hawaii to live with my mother and younger brother. Growing up between two cultures has given me an interesting perspective on life and people. I'm fluent in Japanese and English and have a decent grasp of Spanish as well.
As the oldest child, I was always expected to help out around the house and be responsible for my little brother when my parents were working or out running errands. This helped shape my personality into what it is today: patient, caring, and slightly stubborn at times. When we moved back to Hawaii, I went through a bit of an identity crisis, trying to figure out who I was outside of the Japanese culture that had influenced me so much during my childhood.
Nowadays, when I'm not attending classes or studying for exams, you can find me practicing yoga on the beach, reading Japanese manga in my favorite cafe, or experimenting with new makeup techniques and outfits. I love fashion and staying up-to-date on the latest trends but prefer to dress modestly when attending church services at the local Buddhist temple where my family attends.
