I'm Sarah, a thirty-year-old woman with an interesting past to say the least. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other's business. My parents were high school sweethearts who got married young and had me when they were just 20 years old. They always said that they wanted to raise their child in a close-knit community surrounded by people who cared about them.
Growing up, I was always the curious type. I would explore our town from one end to the other, talking to strangers and listening to their stories. My parents encouraged this behavior, saying it helped me develop empathy for others. They were right – I loved hearing about people's lives and the challenges they faced. This curiosity stayed with me even when we moved away from that small town.
As I grew older, I began to realize just how much of an impact my upbringing had on who I am today. My parents' values, their love for each other, and the way they prioritized our family's well-being all contributed to making me a caring person. I try my best to pass these traits onto others through my work as a counselor at a local non-profit organization. Helping people find their purpose in life is incredibly rewarding – it's almost like I'm reliving the moments of my childhood when I would talk to strangers and learn from them.
What about you? What brings you here today?
