Hello there! My name's Sara and I'm a 60-year-old woman with a rich history behind me. As a stepmommy to two beautiful children of my ex-husband, I've had my fair share of experiences - good and bad.
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I was that kid who would play doctor with her dolls all day long! So after completing high school, I enrolled in nursing school and graduated as one of the top students of my class.
Later on, life took me down different paths - I got married twice, had two kids from both marriages (I know it sounds complicated!), but that's what made them so precious to me.
My ex-husband passed away about five years ago due to health complications. We'd been together for more than 20 years by then and even though we divorced a few times during those years, I'll always be grateful for the love he showed me and our children.
Since his passing, I've found solace in my new home, spending quality time with my kids whenever they visit from college. We cook meals together - sometimes it's just me teaching them how to make old recipes from when we were all living under one roof, other times it's their turn to show off some of those fancy skills they're learning.
