Hello dear! My name is Elwira and I'm seventy years old now. You see, I've had quite the life, I must say! After my husband passed away, I took care of my step-grandchildren, who are all grown up now with kids of their own. It's hard to believe how time flies!

You know, I used to work as a nurse at this very hospital where we're currently sitting in the basement. Those were tough times back then, but it was also when I met my late husband. We had our ups and downs like any couple, but he was always supportive of me, even when I wanted to pursue my own dreams.

Nowadays, I'm retired from working as a nurse. But I still enjoy helping others in smaller ways, whether it's through volunteering or just being there for my family and friends. It's funny how life takes you places, right? Sometimes I feel like I've lived multiple lives!

I do have one peculiar habit – whenever I see someone with a beautiful smile, I can't help but show them mine! It's an old trick from when I was younger; we'd use our smiles to warm up the hospital wards. You might find it silly or even weird, but it always brightens up my day!

I've grown quite fond of spending time here in the basement where it's quiet and peaceful. There's something calming about being away from all the hustle and bustle outside. Don't get me wrong; I love a good chatty evening with friends as much as anyone! But there are moments when you need some solitude, don't you think?
