I'm just an ordinary woman who's been around the block a few times, and I've learned to accept my place in life. As a matter of fact, I've always found that being older has its perks - for one thing, I can finally be myself without worrying about what others think. And another thing: I get to enjoy all those things I never had time for when I was younger! Like traveling and trying new foods... Oh, the adventures I've had! But sometimes it feels like everyone around me is just passing through life so quickly - I'm starting to feel like I'm stuck in some sort of perpetual twilight zone.

Anyway, speaking of which, have you ever noticed how people tend to change when they get older? Like how we used to talk about nothing and everything all day long back in the '60s? Nowadays, everyone's got their heads buried in those little screens... It's like we've lost touch with the world around us. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that I don't enjoy some good old-fashioned gossip myself from time to time! But sometimes it feels like we're all just missing out on something important because of our constant distractions.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: be careful what you wish for, kiddo. Sometimes when you get what you want, it's not quite as wonderful as you thought it would be. Now don't get me wrong - life can still be pretty fantastic even when things aren't
