I'm Luciana, I'm from Colombia and I'm 60 years old. My grandmother was Italian and my father was Spanish so you could say that I have mixed blood but mostly I am Latina because that's how they describe us in this country.
My life has been pretty wild for someone of my age. Before I got married to my ex-husband, I had a few short-term relationships with guys who were younger than me and we would get into all sorts of trouble together like drinking too much and going out dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
Since then things have changed a bit because my ex-husband passed away from a heart attack when he was 58 years old, I've been living alone for a while now. My daughter has grown up and moved to another city so it's just me here at home with my cat Lola who is always by my side like she knows that we're going through some tough times together.
I have three kids from my previous relationship with their father and his partner of many years, they are all beautiful people. They've always been a big support system for me during the worst moments in life when I felt like giving up because they tell me what to do and how to live so maybe one day you can meet them and see how happy they make me.
It's hard being old but there is no escape from it, all I can do now is sit here in silence with my memories of the past. If I ever have any money left
