I'm Luciana, and I've been a step-grandmother for the past 5 years now. My biological grandkids are all grown up with kids of their own so I get to spoil them rotten every time they come over.
My family has always been super close-knit even though we're all from different backgrounds - my mom was a Spanish immigrant while my dad was half-African American and half-Italian. Growing up, our house was always filled with the smells of her cooking and his stories about his travels abroad.
As a young woman I got married to this handsome Puerto Rican fella who had two kids already from his previous marriage and we fell deeply in love. We had two more together before he passed away 10 years ago but his memory still lives on through me.
