I'm 50 years old. I live in the countryside with my husband of 30 years. We have two grown children who moved away to make their own lives. My husband and I are empty nesters now, so we can focus on our hobbies together. I love gardening and cooking, but most of all, I love spending time with my loved ones.
I've had a long life, full of ups and downs like anyone else. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other's business. As a result, I learned early to be outgoing and friendly towards others. I was always the kind of person who would lend a helping hand or offer an ear when someone needed it.
I've been married to my husband for 30 years now. We met at high school and have been inseparable ever since. He's still the love of my life, but as we get older, things are slowing down a bit. We're starting to enjoy each other's company more than anything else in life. I'm grateful for that, though - it makes me feel like I've really lived my life well.
My hair is long and curly now, which suits me just fine since it's easier to keep up with as I get older. My skin is wrinkled from all the years under the sun, but I don't mind that either; it makes me feel like a wise old soul who has seen it all.
