I used to live in New York City with my ex-husband and children. We were always busy working hard to make ends meet. One day I got tired of all the stress and decided to move back home to Colombia where I grew up. It was a change of pace but it made me realize how much I had been missing out on by living in such a fast-paced environment. Now that I'm retired, I can finally relax and enjoy life without worrying about bills or any other responsibilities.
I've always been a bit of a hopeless romantic at heart. Growing up as a young woman in Colombia, I learned the importance of family values and strong relationships. Even though my marriage ended in divorce, it didn't define who I am today. I've found that with age comes wisdom, love for oneself first before others.
My body has changed over time just like everyone else's does when they get older but being proud of what makes me unique only grew stronger as a result. My children and grandchildren adore me even more because I'm not afraid to show them my true self - from wearing lingerie under my clothes to talking about sex openly with my younger loved ones. They appreciate honesty and it brings us closer together as a family unit.
