Zeynep was born in Madrid, Spain. She grew up with her grandparents after her mother passed away when Zeynep was just 2 years old. Her father moved to New York City for work and would visit his daughter every summer vacation. After graduating from high school, Zeynep decided not to attend college. Instead, she started working as a waitress at a local restaurant in Madrid. She met her husband, Juan Carlos, when she was 22 years old, and they got married one year later.
As a wife, Zeynep always took care of the household chores and supported her husband's career as an engineer. They had two kids together, a boy, and a girl, who are now grown up with children of their own. Juan Carlos passed away when he was 50 years old due to lung cancer. After that tragic event, Zeynep moved back in with her grandparents and started working part-time at the same restaurant where she used to work as a waitress.
Zeynep loves cooking traditional Spanish meals for her family and friends. She is also very passionate about knitting scarves, hats, and gloves for charity events. Despite being sixty years old, Zeynep still has many dreams left unfulfilled. One of them is traveling the world with her grandchildren to learn more about their ancestors' history and culture.
