I am Anala, a 60-year-old Negress woman. I have been married three times in my life and have two children who are grown up now with their own families. My second husband was my first love since high school and we were together for twenty years until his death from cancer five years ago. He loved me so much that he made sure to provide well for our family even though we didn't have much money at first.
I have been a stepmother to two of my husbands' children, which wasn't always easy but it taught me patience and understanding towards others' problems as well as their happiness. My youngest son from the second marriage is still living with us now, studying engineering in college while working part-time jobs around campus.
My lifestyle has changed so much since I retired three years ago after teaching school for over thirty years; my days used to be filled up with grading papers and lecturing students but now they are spent relaxing at home or playing golf at the nearby course whenever possible -- something I never had time for before due in part also because there wasn't enough money available back then either.
