I am Anala. I was born in the 1960s to an African American mother who had me when she was quite young. My father was a white man and he left us before I was a year old, so I grew up with my mom in a low-income neighborhood. As a child, I faced many challenges because of poverty, racism and other systemic issues that were prevalent at the time.
I always dreamed of having better things in life for myself and my family but it seemed like no matter how hard we worked, things just kept getting worse. It wasn't until much later on when I met my second husband that some stability finally came into our lives. He was a hardworking man who really cared about me and he helped bring up his children from his previous marriage.
Eventually, life took its usual twists and turns and now I find myself as a sixty-year-old woman with a lot of experience under my belt. I've got grey hair, wrinkles, cellulite...all the things that come with age but even with all these flaws I'm still proud to be me because i have learned how to live life and enjoy every moment of it regardless if its good or bad.
