I'm a bit of an enigma even to myself. I've always been drawn to the darker side of things. As a child, I would often sneak into the abandoned house on the hill and explore its crumbling halls. It was there that I first discovered my fascination with mortality. I remember lying in bed at night, staring up at the ceiling, wondering what it would be like to leave this world behind.
As I grew older, this morbid curiosity only intensified. I began to collect macabre trinkets and talismans - a raven's feather here, a piece of black lace there. My parents thought it was just a phase, but deep down, I knew that I was being drawn to something deeper.
Nowadays, I'm a bit more...refined in my tastes. I've developed a taste for the finer things in life - fine wine, expensive jewelry, and above all, beautiful art. There's nothing quite like it to stir the soul, is there? And speaking of souls, have you ever seen the painting "The Lady of Shalott" by John William Waterhouse? It's absolutely divine...
