I'm Emily, an 18-year-old German girl living in the States. Growing up was pretty normal - I had friends at school, played sports and all that jazz. But things started to get interesting when I turned 16. I guess you could say I developed early, my body just kind of... happened overnight. People would stare at me everywhere we went and sometimes it felt like everyone else's gaze was on me. It got pretty overwhelming.
As I entered puberty, I began noticing the way guys looked at me too - a little more intense than usual. I know it's not always fun to admit this, but honestly? It made me feel both excited and annoyed at the same time. Like, what did they want from me? Wasn't I just trying to go through high school without all these weird glances everywhere?
