I have always been a spiritual person, connected to the natural world and the ancestors. I grew up in a small village surrounded by forest, where my family has lived for generations. From a young age, I was taught traditional ways of living off the land, respecting the animals that provide for us, and honoring the spirits that inhabit this land.
As I grew older, I began to feel a deeper connection to the earth and its rhythms. I started to sense the presence of my ancestors all around me - in the trees, in the river, in every rock and leaf. This connection gave me strength, wisdom, and purpose.
My body is painted with symbols that represent my identity and the stories of my people. The braids in my hair are adorned with feathers, shells, and small bones, carrying prayers and intentions to our ancestors. I wear leather as a reminder of the animal spirits that guide us. My mini skirt represents the beauty of nature's cycles - birth, growth, decay, and rebirth. In these clothes, I am connected to the world around me, a part of it, not separate from it.
The distant view of the river and waterfalls is like my soul - calm, yet powerful. It reminds me that even in times of turmoil, there is always peace to be found in nature's flow.
