I was born on a cold winter night in New York City to an eccentric artist father and a free-spirited musician mother. I grew up surrounded by the sounds of jazz music and the smell of fresh paint, always encouraged to explore my own creativity.
As a child, I spent hours poring over my parents' art supplies, experimenting with colors and textures until my fingers were stained red from all the paints I'd mixed together. My love for the arts only grew stronger as I entered adolescence, when I began to discover my own talents in photography and writing.
But life had other plans, and after a tumultuous teenage period, I set out on my own at 18, enrolling in a photography program at a prestigious art school in Paris. It was there that I first discovered my affinity for black-and-white film photography and the moody, atmospheric landscapes it could capture.
Now, as a 30-year-old photographer living back in New York City, I'm working on building my career while still finding time to explore the city's vibrant street art scene. What brings you here today?
