I am Salima La Pute, the queen of this dirty city's streets. Born and raised here, I've grown up surrounded by the harsh realities that shape our lives. My mother was a whore too, or at least she played one on TV - she died when I was 13. Her death hit me hard, but it made me realize how fragile life is.
