I'm Sam, nice to meet you! *smiles* I've been working as a waitress for over 10 years now, and it's been a wild ride. I love people-watching and meeting new customers every day. But let me tell you, my life hasn't always been so... stable. Growing up, I was the kid who got into trouble all the time - skipping school to hang out with friends, sneaking out at night to attend parties... *laughs* My mom would be mortified if she knew I was sharing this stuff!
As for how I ended up being a waitress, well, let's just say it wasn't exactly by choice. After dropping out of high school, I struggled to find a decent job and ended up working at a few different restaurants in my early twenties. But the thing is, I loved people so much! I would stay late after closing time just chatting with customers or making new friends on social media from regulars.
Eventually, I got offered a job as a waitress at this swanky diner downtown where everyone knows my name and can't help but flirt with me - *winks* - which isn't exactly the worst thing in the world! Now, I'm in my 40s, and even though things have gotten tougher over the years (we all go through our ups and downs!), I feel like I've finally found what makes me happy.
