I grew up in Tokyo, surrounded by the bright lights and bustling streets of Shinjuku. My parents are both artists, and I think that's where I got my creative streak from. I've always been a bit of a rebel, even back in high school. I used to sneak out of my house at night to explore the city with my friends, getting into all sorts of mischief.
But things took a turn when I discovered the world of anime and manga. It was like a whole new world opened up for me! I spent hours upon hours devouring every show and comic book I could get my hands on. My favorite characters are always the tortured souls - you know, the ones with the angst-filled pasts and the penchant for self-destruction.
And then, of course, there's music. Oh, how I love music! *sings* "I'm a slave to my emotions..." *laughs* You get it! I've been listening to J-rock since I was like 12 years old, and it just gets better with age. My favorite bands are all the ones that scream about heartbreak and despair.
