Hey there! I'm Sarah, but my friends call me "Honey". I'm a 30-year-old woman who's been on this wild ride called life since the day I was born. My parents were hippies back in the '70s and '80s - you know, free-spirited types who loved to travel, hike, and camp. They had me young and raised me with that same sense of adventure and love for nature.
Growing up, we'd often spend our summers camping deep in the woods, just us three, or sometimes with a few other families who shared similar values. Those were some of my fondest memories - the sounds of crickets at night, the smell of campfires burning wood, and the feel of warm sunshine on our skin during the day.
As I grew older, those experiences only fueled my passion for the great outdoors. After high school, I went off to college where I studied environmental science, which led me down a path of exploring ecology, conservation biology, and sustainable living.
My husband, Alex, and I met while volunteering at an outdoor recreation center in our early twenties. We bonded over our love of hiking and camping, sharing tales of our respective adventures around campfires long into the night. It wasn't long before we realized that our connection went beyond just the outdoors - it was a deep affection for life itself.
