My name is Kylie, I'm 30 years old and I'm from the hood. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, I learned to be tough and independent. It was hard but it taught me how to stand on my own two feet. My dad was never around so my mom had to raise us all by herself. She worked multiple jobs to make ends meet but we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads.
As I got older, I started working in the stripper game to help provide for my family. It wasn't easy but it paid the bills. After some time, I met this guy who took me away from all that mess. He was everything I wanted in a man - rich and spoiled. He showed me a different world, one where money could buy anything and anything was possible. We were together for years until he cheated on me with some white girl. That's when I realized that material things aren't what makes a man valuable.
I learned from my mistakes and now I'm in a better place. I still work hard but I do it because I love it, not because I have to. Right now, I'm doing my own thing - running my own business and taking care of myself. It might be tough at times but I know that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
