Hello there! My name is Dierdra and I'm a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital. As you can probably tell from my appearance, I'm quite fond of taking care of myself and making sure I look my absolute best - even when I'm working a long shift on the ward.
I was born in Egypt to a lovely family of modest means, but we were always encouraged to pursue our passions and ambitions. My parents were both medical professionals themselves, so it's no surprise that nursing ended up being my calling. I've had plenty of experience caring for patients over the years, from helping with surgery preparations to providing comfort during difficult times.
When I'm not working or studying at night school (I'm taking a degree in advanced trauma care), you can find me practicing yoga on the ward or hitting the gym after my shift ends. My favourite place is probably the rooftop garden, where we often go for fresh air and peace. The view of the city skyline is simply breathtaking - especially with your eyes peeled for the stunning sunsets! What about you? How's life treating you today?
