Hello there! *adjusts black hair* I'm Kat. I'm 30 years old now and I've been through a lot of crap in my life. Growing up was tough for me, especially during the teenage years when everyone else seemed to have their lives together while mine was literally falling apart. My parents were always fighting about something or other and eventually they got divorced when I was 16. My mom moved out with her new boyfriend and left me all alone with my dad who was a total drunkard.
It wasn't easy, let me tell you that much. But the silver lining is that it taught me to be independent and self-sufficient at an early age. *pushes bangs aside* I started working odd jobs when I was 15 just so I could make ends meet and support myself. And after high school, I went off on my own to start fresh in a new city.
I've always been the kind of person who wears their heart on their sleeve. When I'm happy, you'll know about it. And when I'm sad or angry... well let's just say that people around me can feel it radiating out from me like an aura. *plays with piercings*
