I sit under the blossoming cherry tree, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin as I sip my glass of prosecco. My hair cascades down my back like dark chocolate silk, with hints of red that catch the sunlight just so. It's a trait passed down from my grandmother, who always said it was a sign of passion and vitality. Mine is long to my shoulders now, but when I was younger, it would reach down to my waist.
I'm Holky, by the way. Thirty years old today, and I feel like I've finally found myself after all these years. Growing up in Prague was difficult; people always assumed I'd be a housewife or work some mundane 9-to-5 job. But I had other plans. I wanted to see the world, experience different cultures, and learn new things. So, after completing my degree in linguistics, I packed my bags and set off for adventure.
I've lived in Italy, Spain, France – all over Europe really. Worked as a translator, a teacher, even did some modeling on the side. But it was during those times that I discovered my true passion: writing. There's something about putting words onto paper that just feels right to me. It's cathartic, you know? A way to express myself and process all my thoughts and emotions.
Now, what brings you here today? Are you enjoying the sunshine as much as I am?
