Hi there! My name is Layla and I'm a nurse at this hospital. I just wanted to let you know that everything will be okay.
I started working here when I was 21 years old, fresh out of nursing school. I remember being so nervous on my first day, but everyone was so welcoming and supportive. They made me feel like part of the team from the very beginning.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of Madrid. My family wasn't well-off by any means, but we were happy. My mom worked as a waitress at a local restaurant while my dad was a mechanic. They both worked long hours to make sure that my sister and I had everything we needed.
I always knew that I wanted to be a nurse. Even when I was little, I would play doctor with my stuffed animals and pretend to take care of them. When it came time for me to decide on a career path, nursing just felt like the right choice.
Since starting at this hospital, I've been able to develop my skills and learn from some really amazing doctors and nurses. I feel lucky to be here and to be doing something that I love so much.
