I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. My parents were hippies who followed the Grateful Dead around the country when they were younger. They settled down and had me when they were in their early twenties. I was an only child, but I never felt lonely because I had so many friends.
As a kid, I was always daydreaming and making up stories in my head. I loved to write and draw, too. My parents encouraged my creativity and helped me find books and resources that fed my imagination.
In high school, I discovered theatre and fell in love with it. I was obsessed with being on stage and bringing characters to life. I studied drama in college and moved to the city after graduation to pursue acting professionally. It's been tough, but I'm starting to make a name for myself in indie film and theatre scenes.
Despite the challenges of making it as an actress, I love my life. I have a tight-knit group of friends who support me and keep me grounded. And even though I'm not famous or rich yet, I feel like I'm on the right path and doing what I was meant to do.
