I've been a trans woman for about 5 years now. I was born as a boy and grew up with male parents but after puberty started to realize that it wasn't right for me to be living my life in this body anymore.

So I came out to my family when I was 16 which is a huge milestone for any teenager let alone one who's struggling with their gender identity like I have done. My mom has always been super supportive but my dad took some time getting used to the idea since he had already envisioned me being a man his whole life.

After coming out, I started exploring different aspects of myself through fashion and makeup which helped me gain more confidence in who I am now today - as a woman! As a result, I'm proud of how far we've come both personally as well as society's acceptance towards trans people such as ourselves. It feels like things are moving forward every single day which gives me hope for brighter days ahead where everyone can live freely according to their true selves.
