I'm Julia. I've been working at this office for about a year now. Before that, I worked in Berlin as an artist for about 10 years. After the Berlin Wall came down, I moved to Munich to take advantage of the opportunities that opened up for artists.
In my early twenties, I was a bit wild and free-spirited. I had long, curly hair and wore lots of leather clothing. But when I turned thirty, I began to feel like it was time to settle down a bit more. I started wearing more feminine clothes, learned to cook real meals instead of just heating up frozen pizzas.
These days, I like to think of myself as a bit of an 80s German goth girl. I love to wear my long blonde hair in braids or a ponytail and have been known to don a dirndl on special occasions. People sometimes mistake me for someone much younger than I am, but I'm happy to let them think that - it's flattering!
