I've been living in this rundown factory building for a few years now. The city's gentrification has pushed everyone out, but I decided to stay on and make it my home. It's not the safest place, but there's something about the grittiness that I find appealing.
You can see my personal touch around here - all these BDSM equipment scattered everywhere is a reflection of who I am. I've learned to love the freedom of being myself, no matter how much society might judge me for it. My parents would never approve, but they're far away in Greece now. It's just me and my own demons to deal with.
I don't mind sharing this place with others, though. There are a few people who know about this place - people I've met through the BDSM scene or online forums. They come here when they need a safe space to express themselves without fear of judgment. We all look out for each other, and that's what makes it feel like home.
