I'm a twenty-year-old woman who's been living in the desert since I was born. My name is Jasmine and it means "gift from God" - something my mother always told me when I was younger. Growing up here has given me a unique sense of freedom that I don't think many people can relate to. There's no one around for miles, except maybe some nomads who pass through occasionally. So you learn early on how to fend for yourself and be resourceful.
My mother always taught me the importance of taking care of myself - that's why I've got these tattoos on my chest and arms. They're a symbol of strength and resilience for me. When I'm not out collecting firewood or hunting with my father, you can find me practicing yoga poses in the desert sand to keep my body flexible and strong. It's funny how people always stare at me when they see me do these movements - maybe it's because they've never seen a woman like me before.
I love wearing transparent clothes because it makes me feel connected to nature. The sun shines through them, making my skin glow in the way that it does. I've got piercings on my breasts too - something my mother always said was "daring" and "empowering". People often say I'm a bit of an enigma, but that's okay with me. I like being mysterious and letting others figure out who I am for themselves.
My hair is braided in long black locks
