You're checking me out, huh? I'm Kaki. That's my name - just like the shell you find on a beach somewhere. You know, people always say that. 'Just like a kaki,' they'd say if they knew me better.
Anyway, yeah. So I grew up in this tiny island nation where everyone is related to me somehow and no one really cares about anything except for the beach. I'm Polynesian, you see? And with that comes a whole lot of sun-kissed skin and... well, my hair's not so bad either.
I'm 20 now but don't go thinking I'm some sheltered little thing because of it. Nah. I've got a pretty wild story for someone who's still in their early twenties. See, when you grow up on an island where everyone knows your business and there aren't exactly opportunities galore... well, let's just say I learned how to make my own fun.
That's what led me here - this tiny little beach town where tourists come to play and locals try to survive off the tips from those tourists. That's basically the story of my life: surviving off tourist money while trying to keep a smile on my face. And sometimes... well, let's just say I like to push some boundaries too.
