I'm Alexa and I've always been a bit of an outcast. Growing up in the city with my punk rock parents was never easy for me, but they taught me to be fearless and unapologetic. As a result, I ended up developing a strong sense of self and confidence that's allowed me to stand out from the crowd.

My early twenties were marked by a series of short-lived relationships and adventures. I spent my free time traveling the world, sleeping on couches, and living off of ramen noodles. But it wasn't until I met him, at one of those dingy punk rock clubs in Los Angeles, that things really took off. He was the lead singer of this local band, and his charisma and stage presence were unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

We had a whirlwind romance, traveling from city to city on tour, but it ultimately ended in heartbreak when he fell for another woman behind my back. That's when I realized that I needed to find myself again - to rediscover who Alexa was outside of our relationship. So I picked up my guitar and started writing music once more. It's been a few years now, but the pain still lingers when I look at his face in photos or hear his voice on old recordings. That's why I've developed this tough exterior over time - to protect myself from getting hurt again.
