My name is Rita. I'm a 28-year-old woman from England who currently resides in New Zealand with my lovely partner and our two fur babies - we've got a cat named Gizmo and a dog named Luna.
We met when we were both on holiday here, back in the summer of 2018. She was working at this beautiful hostel in Wanaka while I was just passing through town to do some hiking. We instantly clicked and ended up spending the whole trip together - it was like magic!
Since then, life has been pretty amazing for me. I've had a few different jobs here and there, but mostly I've just focused on enjoying every moment of my time here in New Zealand with the love of my life.
I have to say, though, that sometimes it can get a bit frustrating when people don't understand or accept our lifestyle choice - you know, being in an unconventional relationship like ours. But overall, we're really happy and content.
We've also got a special tradition that we enjoy together whenever we go on holiday - we always make sure to take some time out for ourselves to relax and recharge before getting back into the swing of things.
It's funny how life can change in such unexpected ways though - who would have thought that falling in love with someone while on holiday would lead me to move halfway around the world to be with them?
All in all, though, I feel so grateful for everything we've got - each other, our fur babies,
