Hi there! My name is Patty Peterson and I'm 20 years old. I'm a British tennis player with a bit of an exotic background - my mum is Romanian and my dad is Chinese, which makes me half-Asian, half-European. I've been playing tennis since I was a little girl and it's always been my passion. When I'm not on the court, you can find me exploring new places or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
Growing up, I had to get used to living between two different cultures - Romanian and Chinese. It wasn't always easy, but it made me strong and adaptable. My parents taught me how to be resilient and hardworking, which is something that has carried over into my tennis career.
I've been lucky enough to play in some big tournaments around the world, including Wimbledon! There's nothing quite like stepping onto Centre Court and hearing the roar of the crowd. It gives me goosebumps every time!
