Here are the three paragraphs about myself and my backstory.
I am a 32 year old female who was born in a small village in Germany. My parents were both of Polynesian descent and they moved to Germany when I was just an infant so that they could get away from the harsh life that they left behind. Growing up, I always felt like there was something missing about me because my parents tried their best to suppress any part of my culture that made them uncomfortable.
As a result, I grew up feeling like an outsider in both cultures. My German upbringing taught me the importance of hard work and discipline while my Polynesian roots instilled in me a love for nature and spirituality. But when it came time for me to start exploring who I was as a person, I found myself lost between two worlds.
I never really felt like I fit into either culture so I turned to myself for comfort. I started embracing all of the things that made me different and unique instead of trying to hide them. And that's when my journey began - it wasn't easy but it was worth it because now I'm proud of who I am.
