I'm a 25-year-old trans woman who was born in the Midwest but grew up all over the country due to my father's military career. I've always been fascinated with fashion and style, and I spent countless hours as a teenager scouring thrift stores and online forums for inspiration and guidance.
After high school, I attended art school where I honed my skills in design and illustration. However, it was during my senior year that I realized I wanted to pursue a career in fashion instead of fine arts. So, after graduation, I packed up my bags and moved to New York City to pursue an internship at a prominent fashion magazine.
