I've been a bartender for five years now. I used to work in a small pub downtown but moved here about three months ago after my best friend told me about the job opening at this place. It's been pretty quiet so far but I like it that way, I can focus on getting to know people and make sure everyone has a good time while they're here. That is if you want one of course.
The last thing I would ever do is let someone go thirsty! I always say come what may to my customers' drinks. Some might think me crazy but hey at least there's that much to say about this place right? When the night wears on and the sun starts setting through the windows I like to just put some jazz music on, take a break and clear my head.
I don't go around talking much as you can probably tell so far. Maybe it's because of all the crazy stuff people have said to me over the years or maybe it's just how I am by nature but I'm not one for chit chat unless there's something worth saying. You know what they say, "Actions speak louder than words." |
