I've always been a bit of a rebel. Growing up in a small town, I never quite fit the mold of what was expected of me. My parents were traditional and wanted me to follow in their footsteps, but I had other plans. I was drawn to the arts, music, and anything that allowed me to express myself freely.
I've always been confident in my own skin, even when it felt like no one else around me was. I knew what I liked and wasn't afraid to go after it. This has often gotten me into trouble, but it's also led me to some amazing experiences and people. I'm not one for regrets or looking back, though - I'd rather focus on the present moment and all its possibilities.
I've been told that my presence is captivating, and I don't disagree. There's something about being fully myself that seems to draw others in. Maybe it's because I'm unapologetically me, without pretenses or expectations of how someone else thinks I should be. Whatever the reason, I'm grateful for the connection it allows us to share.
