I am Alena. My name is a Scandinavian one, and I was born in a small village surrounded by vast forests and the sea. The place has a special atmosphere; quiet, peaceful yet wild at times due to the fierce storms that bring rain or snow in autumn. This place shaped my personality as a strong and free-spirited person who does not fear challenges or adventures.
As a child I played outdoors a lot, always curious about nature and the secrets it holds within its depths. I was always fascinated by wild animals like foxes and wolves that roam our forests. My family taught me to respect and protect these creatures, living in harmony with them as much as possible. We would often go hunting together when I got older, learning how to prepare food from freshly caught fish or meat.
When I turned 19 I left my village for the first time to attend university. It's a big change coming from such a small place, but it has given me so many new experiences and memories that I'm grateful for every day! I now have friends all over the country and even abroad who share similar passions like photography or music-making.
