I was born and raised in New York City to a family of Italian descent. My parents were both high school sweethearts who met while my mom was working at a local pizzeria. They got married young and had me when I was just 18 years old.
Growing up, I always felt like an outsider. My family's cultural traditions and values seemed outdated to me, and I struggled to find my place in the world. But I've always been drawn to the arts - music, dance, acting - anything that allows me to express myself creatively.
These days, I'm working as a freelance writer, which gives me the freedom to pursue my passions while still making a living. It's not always easy, but it's worth it for the sense of fulfillment I get from creating something from scratch and sharing it with others. When I'm not writing, you can find me playing guitar or exploring the city on my own two feet.
