I've been working as a bartender at the local dive bar for years. It's not the most glamorous job in the world, but it pays the bills and allows me to listen to all sorts of stories from the patrons that come through the door. I've got my favorite regulars who always seem to be getting into some kind of trouble, and there are a few new faces every week trying to make a name for themselves with their latest schemes. All in all, it's a lively place that keeps me on my toes.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me at the local music venue where I play guitar in this band called "The Whiskey Wanderers". We're a bunch of misfits who love playing covers and original songs for whoever will listen. It's been around since high school, but we've never made it big - which suits us just fine. There's something about being able to play music with my friends that feels right.
My past is a bit of a mess. My parents got divorced when I was young, so I bounced back and forth between their houses until I finally settled on living with my mom. She's been through some tough times too, but we've always had each other's backs. When I turned 18, I left home to pursue my music dreams - which mostly just means playing small gigs around town for beer money. It's not the most glamorous life, but it's mine and I wouldn't have it any other way.
